Stephen Swanton grew up in Northern California in the Bay Area and spent 15 years in Sonoma County prior to making the move to St. Croix in 2015. He has been in real estate since 2018 and brings with him a wealth of business skills and expertise with a background in food and wine sales having been employed by world renown Michelin starred chefs and has been a purveyor for the best wine lists in Sonoma and Napa counties.

He has been visiting the Caribbean all of his life and after moving to St. Croix opened a production facility and was the first commercial kombucha brewer in the U.S. Virgin Islands. His company, Virgin Islands Kombucha sold commercial kegs to bars, restaurants and yoga studios as well as retail sales at the local Farmer’s Market. Additionally, he had been an avid cyclist prior to moving to St. Croix, but never participated in any endurance racing; so in 2015, he signed up for a triathlon, on a whim, without even knowing how to swim!

Since then, he has used a systematic and data-driven approach combined with dedication and discipline to become a top triathlete and elite cyclist on St. Croix, having competed at the international level in both cycling and triathlon, In his training, he has explored every inch of the beautiful island and he uses that knowledge to help clients find their perfect island home, condo or home site.

Stephen Swanton truly feels that real estate is a lifetime endeavor and has found it extremely satisfying to assist people with their real estate needs, goals and dreams to find the same joy and fulfillment he has found since moving to St. Croix.

Stephen Swanton believes in giving back to his community and has been very active with numerous organizations. He currently gives of his time and is the President of the Virgin Islands Triathlon Federation as well as is a World Triathlon Level 2 certified coach and coaches junior triathletes and cyclists on St. Croix. In addition to being the overall winner of the 2018 Beauty and the Beast Triathlon (formerly the Ironman 70.3 race), he has been the Virgin Islands National Time Trial Champion 2016, 2018, 2021, 2022 and Virgin Islands National Road Race Champion 2015-2022.
