Mariela Lechin

Mariela Lechin was born in Caracas, Venezuela. She moved to California in 1993, and in 1994 moved with her family to Florida and has lived in the sunshine state ever since.

She initially studied dentistry in Venezuela, but later graduated from Florida Atlantic University with degrees in Fine Art and Psychology. Her entrepreneurial spirit has lead Mariela to own and operate several businesses during her professional career. After acquiring her real estate license in 2001, Mariela initially spent two years working in the timeshare industry before she started working directly with builders and developers as an International Builders Services Director.

In this role, she focused on marketing and selling new construction projects within and outside of the US, creating a network of both developers and international investors that are still within her main sphere of influence. When the market crashed in 2008, she refocused her efforts on working directly with banks to help her developer clients.

In 2009, Mariela became an agent with United Realty Group and built on her professional career by specializing in commercial and residential real estate with continued success. Mariela and her partner opened the Lighthouse Point branch of United Realty Group, Inc in 2015 which now has over 150 agents and growing. In 2016, she opened Lucai, Inc, a Property Management Company that watches over her client’s investments.

Parallel to her Real Estate career, Mariela has built a name for herself as an artist worldwide, appearing in global publications and being the recipient of numerous international awards. Her work has been exhibited in Italy, New York, and Miami, including Miami’s Art Basel season 2014 through2018, Biennale di Roma 2015 and others.
