Born on the island of Aruba but grew up and raised by his mother in Holland. Here he was taught by his mother important life values that remains with him to this day. These values such as honesty, Integrity, determination and responsibility Garrick implements daily in his personal and professional life.

In 2002 after studying Commercial Economics in Holland, he moved to Aruba. The initial idea was to stay for one year. But during this year he got to know the island and met his future wife and hasn’t left the island ever since.

Started in the tourism industry with Marriott’s MVCI Aruba Sales Department he quickly noticed that providing a great experience to the guest had a fulfilling and positive affect on him. This steered the course in 2008 to leave Marriott’s MVCI after 5 years and joined the Real Estate team at Tierra del Sol Resort, Golf and Country Club. Tierra del Sol offers some of the most luxurious homes in Aruba.

In 2012 his Sales Manager at the time, had a vision to bring Sotheby’s International Realty to the ABC Islands. Garrick joined the ABC Islands Sotheby’s International Realty team specialized in the Luxury Properties in Aruba.

After 10+ years in the Real Estate, Garrick’s expertise gives him the opportunity to work in different capacities, such as Real Estate Agent, Real Estate Consultant, Lease Consultant, and Property Manager. In addition to showing homes to prospective buyers, assist clients with property valuation, construction/renovation, financing, and mortgages.
