Frances Pimentel

Frances was born in Puerto Rico and raised in the Dominican Republic, where she lived until completion of her high school studies, at which point she moved to Philadelphia, PA to pursue her college education. She obtained bachelor’s degrees in Marketing and International Business as well as her Master’s in Business Administration from Drexel University. Upon completion of her studies she decided to return to Dominican Republic, where she successfully took on the role of Director of the Marketing School at UNIBE, one of the most respected universities in the country, at the early age of 23.

But shortly thereafter, she realized she was not ready to settle down in the DR and since she had family in Miami, it was the perfect move. Once in Miami, and due to her mother’s influence – as she is also a broker, she decided to pursue her real estate license in Florida, obtaining licensure in 2001. From this point onward she has been in the real estate field holding both corporate positions in varying roles as well as that of an independent contractor as global real estate advisor.

Having worked in the industry, both locally and internationally, Frances has had quite a dynamic and diverse real estate career. In past years, Frances has focused largely in the Caribbean markets, where she has held the position of Director of Sales and Marketing for several large real estate development projects and companies. She holds the Certified International Property Specialist and Transnational Referral Certification designations and has also completed the Resort and Second Home Markets coursework.

She also recently completed a certificate in Project Management for Development from the Inter-American Development Bank. These designations, along with her extensive living, travel and work experience abroad, have granted her access to a vast  international broker and client network as well as close personal and business contacts in the industry.

Her past and current roles include working with local and international architectural and engineering teams as project liaison to determine best unit mixes and designs for developments in multiple countries, procurement of vendors, relationships with ministries and government officials for permitting of projects, as well as sales, marketing and branding strategies for these.

Frances is multilingual – speaking Spanish, English and conversational French. Her main strengths lie in her abilities to easily communicate and relate well with potential investors, developers, clients and brokers alike, her knack and adaptability for working with and relating to different cultures and her excellent presentation and project management skills. Frances was previously featured as an international realtor selling properties in Punta Cana, Dominican Republic in HGTV’s popular House Hunters International. 

Today, Frances has acquired over 18 years’ experience promoting and selling a diverse portfolio of properties as well as expertise in multiple disciplines within the real estate field on a global scale; including commercial and residential properties, hotels and new developments sourcing and project coordination, sales and marketing strategies and property management.

She currently specializes in primary and second homes as well as investment properties in both Miami and the Caribbean. More recently, and due to what she believes to be a personal purpose, Frances has been focusing a large portion of her efforts in sustainable developments and eco-friendly and regenerative real estate. She intends to continue to further grow this aspect of her business with the intention of protecting the environment and leaving a positive impact and imprint on our planet.

She is extremely resourceful and detail oriented and is committed to finding the ideal investment for her client’s specific needs if looking to buy, as well as executing on a meticulously thought out marketing and sales strategy if looking to sell.
