When it comes to visiting a destination in the Caribbean, one area that needs to be considered is the cost of travel because not every city has a reliable public transportation system or even Uber. It is important that you take that into consideration because if you end up in a city that doesn’t have reliable public transportation or Uber you will have to pay for taxis. A taxi ride in the Caribbean isn’t always cheap, sure some can cost you $2 US Dollars and others can cost you up to $35 US Dollars one way! You can try the popular apps Uber, Lyft and InDriver if you don’t want to take a taxi. Also, you need to check first to see if the country you are going to go visit has any ride sharing services or if you will just have to use a taxi ( or rent a car ) due to lack of a reliable public transportation system.
